The REPAIRS

The Cotswold stone pillars and lintels that support the bay facing on to North Street have been damaged by the weather and water draining off from the bay window above. Water is entering the stone, freezing and expanding in winter with the result that the surface of the stone is just crumbling away. We have listed building consent which requires us to replace the stone in the pillars and lintels. See below for more details.

The decline of the stone is accelerating. There was a marked decline in the stone last winter. We really need to get the work done by Autumn 2014, so we urgently need to raise the funds.
