We are waiting on approval by the Conservation Officer of our choice of stone. Once that is given, the stone will be bought and the preparation and carving will take place at the mason's yard. Then on 12th May we hope works will start at the Town Hall itself.

The Winchcombe Town Trust took a stall at a rainy Winchcombe Country Show yesterday to launch the appeal. Trustees chatted with local people and talked about the exphotographs and plans. We are very grateful to all those who dropped by and to the Show's organisers. Thanks too to Winchcombe Radio who interviewed trustee and leading fundraiser Zoe Brooks about the appeal.
